For many of us, the festive season is a time of joy, family, and celebration. But for young people who’ve grown up in the care system, it can feel isolating and lonely.
While their peers return to family homes, care-experienced young people often have nowhere to go.
That’s why, for over ten years, our University community has come together to host a special Christmas Dinner – filled with laughter, warmth and connection.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of more than 150 people across our University community, we raised over £3,000 and welcomed 50 young people to a joyful celebration.
This year, we’re doing it again – and want to make it even more magical.
We need to raise £3,000 to fill every seat around the table – so that every young person has somewhere to go and someone to celebrate with. And with your help, we can go the extra mile – adding thoughtful gifts, better transport options, and special touches to make the day truly magical.
