Support Manchester students

"My scholarship is helping to reduce financial stress, so I can commit fully to my course. It’s overwhelming to know that donors out there are supporting me. Thank you for making sure people like me aren’t overlooked."

- Iqra Malik, BSc Speech and Language Therapy

Will you help a disadvantaged student fulfil their potential?

Here at Manchester, we believe that every student should have access to a world-class education, regardless of their social or financial background.

Manchester has always been a place where bright, talented people can fulfil their potential – no matter where they come from. In fact, one in four Manchester undergraduates grew up in a low-income household. It’s one of the things that makes our University so special.

The pandemic has been tough for students everywhere. They’ve worked incredibly hard in difficult circumstances. And they've persevered through unimaginable disruption to their education.

Thanks to gifts from generous donors, bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds are receiving financial help to study at Manchester. But many more students will need support in the years to come. They truly deserve the chance to follow their dreams.

By making a gift to support Manchester students, you’ll help to increase the financial support we can offer them. Your gift will fund scholarships and bursaries, to help talented people join us at Manchester. And you will make sure that students from disadvantaged backgrounds are given every opportunity to succeed.

By making a donation today, you’ll give Manchester students the opportunity fulfil their potential tomorrow. Thank you.
